Beautiful car! You are right about old cars and new cars. Old cars are built a lot more sturdier, while the new ones do not protect us on the road, only works to take us somewhere we wanted to go.

It's a matter of economy, everything has gotten economized. It is not like it's an art anymore.

That is why I prefer old cars better than the new. I'm glad you feel that way too.

A beautiful car. I think it is all the more special because you worked for it--it wasn't given to you, like so many of today's items. And I agree with you 1,000 per cent--older cars were much better made, these new things? Pshaw! My favorite car (that I don't have anymore, unfortunately) was a 1976 Olds Omega--when I got it, I hated it--too big--when I got rear ended by a woman doing 55, and the only damage was a bumper that got knocked off and my re-view mirror fell off, from that moment on, I loved that car! LOL Her car, an 86 Chevy Celebrity, looked like an accordian LOL
