SOME! FOR IF YOU HAVE ONE TRUE
FRIEND THROUGHOUT LIFETIME,THEN YOU MY
FRIEND ARE,TRUE
TO CONSIDER YOURSELF FORTUNATE,FOR IT BE,
ALL THOSE ACQUAINTANCES WHOM SAID THEY ARE YOUR FRIEND,SEE,
IT THIS WAY,WHERE WERE THEY WHEN YOU REALLY NEEDED HELP,OR
WHEN YOU WERE DOWN AN DOUBT,MORE
SO PROJECT YOURSELF BACK ONE WEEK,ONE MONTH,ONE,
YEAR,ARE YOU STILL SURE THEY ARE YOUR FRIEND? COME
NOW,YOU ARE UNSURE,YOU SAY!

I'm sorry I haven't been around as much as I've wanted to be. I haven't been the type of friend I should have been......will you forgive me? I don't always get a chance to read you, not with the damn hour time limit on the local library's computer. One cannot just skim your words; there is a message within; one must slowly read and let it digest...anyway, I hear you. One is blessed if they even have ONE good friend. As you have been. Again, I'm sorry if I let you down. An excellent, in your face, needed reminder. Well done.

An incisive and transparant write too. True friends are as rare as platinum silk and crystal eggs. Life, and lifes pressures, can often destroy the innocence of true friendships. Those who are blessed enough to weather (together) the myriad forces, and storms, that come against friendship - and come out the other end intact - are blessed indeed.

"True friends will always be there when you need them" - if they aren't there, then they can't even be called friends. -
How true this is! True friends will always be there to tell you what it is, take it or leave it.
In life, you only need one or two good friends, too many of them will cause gossips and imbalance of friendship. Some will call themselves friends to you, but they aren't really there when the time you need them most, hence you feel like you're being abandoned when circumstance arise.
Anyway...just my 2 cents worth of opinion about friends.
