July, summer, endless fields, many leafy companions...
Corn spirits-- blooming regiments-- Green Men march on every side. Stand among them, hear them whisper, their wiry feet clutching damp earth, breathe their sweet breath, beneath a sky that's sunstruck. Every noble head wears a crown, tassels drop gold into my hand.

Oh how wonderfully lovely. I have grown corn in my garden and I am always amazed at how tall they get, then how excited I get to pick the new corn....

I have watched how the summer corn is growing tall in the fields out in the country as I drive in the car. It is so green, we've had much rain to make it grow. It is good but can only eat one ear at time as i have Diverticulosis and get stomach ache if eating more than should. I should not have any at all, but corn is sometimes hard to resist with that good melted butter and pepper. Yum Yum Yummy.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh...breathtakingly beautiful imagery! Well done, Juliet, will never look at corn the same way again. No wonder prices going up - golden tasseled heads worth a fortune, now!
