For a Scorpio friend, one of the dangerous ones.

Oblique rays shine
From her eyes
Of a thousand years--
Pure violence--
pure child.

Many cycles past,
An autumnal lady watched
breakers ring like metal
upon the headlands,
Her glances a falcon
Endlessly falling.
Breathless,
See
how fast
She flies!

Lady in a cloak
of November,
you leave us behind,
shedding
dark stars.

Juliet, a friend is a friend is a friend...
you leave us behind, shedding dark stars. Wonderful!

A peek at the stars and all the wondrous adventures they hold for us, nice writing...

I'm a crab. No, really: born under the sign of Cancer. LOL A powerfully penned ode to Scorpions. :) Love the imagery, especially "her glances a falcon...see how fast she flies!" Well done, Julianza.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Juliet,
You can include me, a Scorpio Child, in this and it rings unnervingly true but I'm not always 'falcon sharp'. I love the final stanza, its sense of awe, labouring in her wake.
John
