dangerous out there on
the Depression engineered
"super-highway" through
the Alleghenies
in company with top-
heavy SUVs,
Well over the speed limit,
and on the phone,
those left lane
riders.
Out of the Blue Mountain captured dangerous roads just the way they are. Well done. Every time it rains or snows, the accidents come by the dozen as people that won't slow and stay about three feet from the car in front slam into each other--these SUVs hitting eighty in bad weather are like tight beads on a string. It's crazy out there. I sometimes wonder if these people are aliens from another planet and are not human.
Living in NJ, I know what you mean by "left-lane bandits" hogging that left lane, as they, mostly from Pennsylvania, do so when driving from Phila to the Atlantic City area, never moving over, though the law clearly states in both PA & NJ, "Keep Right, Pass Left"...I always liked those tunnels as well, good thoughts gotten down while traveling...Ed & Rufuz (w00f)
