We lie frozen
in the fist of January.
Even the cardinal
and his mate
are big news.
My thighs dimple,
I don't have the energy
to hit the trainer down
in the radoned cellar.

in a leveraged moment,
His music in my ears,
words spewing
like mental plumbing--
Salvation
through Mozart.
