In every breath I know The magic of life Every movement, every thought Testament to wonder Spark that lit this fire we call life Magic sprinkling of dust Cosmic birth of consciousness To experience matter anew Enervation of divine touching earth We come to be as these creatures To be birthed, to live, to overcome, to thrive To fail, to grow wise, to grow frail, To be misled, to recognize truth from lie Even the ugliness is beauty Each part of our experience a thread In the tapestry of the human story The human experience Living, breathing, smiling Forgetting we are born to die Only because we are so divinely human� � � 2006 C.Blount �
