The awesomeness vastness of our  world

Is difficult to consider all at once

A spinning orb of so many layers of complexity

From the finite to the infinite, the scientific to divinity

There are more questions than answers

One can only know small bits of the greater truths

Amazing is a small word for the fascination I have

With how this all came to be, how it is, what it will be

Who we are, where we're going, why we exist,

Not to mention the question of how it all  works,

The natural world a wonderland of oddities and great beauty

And God or godless, the great mysteries of spirit

Are in themselves complicated to such a degree

That they are as untouchable and intangible  the cosmos

And I am acutely aware of my smallness

In the face of such profound  questions
