Author Sharon Lockwood wrote this poem from dream fragments.

Is the stairway to Heaven a door through our dreams,
A sequence of messages, yet what does it all mean?

In a dream if you fall and at the bottom do hit
Your life becomes over your heart will just quit.
But what if you hit, and slowly opened your eyes
Ask the small child above you, “Am I dead?”
“No,” she replies.

Your eyes again close, but before you drift out again
In the dream recall feeling how much pain you were in.
A split second then passes to briefly regain your sight
An Asian who rocks you utters, “Everything will be alright.”

If you get lost on the stairway to heaven in your dreams
Call your name and an angel escorts you home, so it seems.

A new dream now, I know you, but who, embracing me tight?
Duplicating the words, “Everything’s going to be alright.”
You wake in a panic to discover your nightmare is not real,
Yet know you’ve been somewhere by the way that you feel.

So, explain in you’re dream, why a hand face down you see,
Pulls out all the pain from you stomach with pure energy
You wake up in a fright and for air you do gasp
Your real pain is abolished, “How is that possible?” you ask.

Another dream follows, now through a long bright corridor
Three Angels do lead you to healing rooms of that I’m sure.
Are Angels messengers or healers, or both and by whatever means,
Here to help guide our destiny through a stairway of dreams.
