The Colors of Nature are quietly brown, green, and gray-blue,
Then once in awhile a glimmer of peach or yellow awaken you.
The colors of nature are quietly brown, green, and gray-blue,
Then once in awhile a glimmer of peach or yellow awaken you.
You turn and tune into your senses like night.
Assessing the still, as she casts her light.
Within your city of illumination and sound,
Of divisions unheard, your directions obscured, where so many souls are bound.
A hush can speak to us in the silence of dark, in contrast of loud perception.
Yes, even moss that grows life on the dark side can listen.
Suspicions pine, persuasion maples, while the mighty oak baptizes in her morning dew.
Illuminate the meaning within and without, as the shadows of doubt are within you.
In pain or sorrow, black of night, to the twilight of ever morn;
You ask,” Why, do birds seem so quiet before a storm?
Sense the way as you hear the whispers, calling out from every gnarl.
Touch the stones along the stream and feel for natures call.
Among the quiet simplicity, it is then we understand,
Disorder within complexity is found in every land
No, it is not just a brown piece of wood with crimson stains upon it’s bark.
There’s a hybrid among the forest, scorned and thorned, A lark
How vulnerable we are, with arms outstretched, amber rays between the cross.
Branches instinctly reach towards the Son, a path of never lost

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .

What a wonderful painting! It is so bright with golden sunshine it is so pleasant to look at; and your poem is a treasure to behold.
