I really am shrinking
She says to me
But my mother stands tall
When it comes to li-ving
She lost her mom
At a young age, she did
Yet she never acts like
She's had a tough bid
At this game of life
She always shows such strength
In the face of adversity
Her faith grows in length
Her love is unconditional
And she never does worry
I'm so thankful she's my Mom,
Who doesn't "Hurry Hurry"
*One of my favorite books I received as a child is entitled "Hurry Hurry" by Edith Thatcher Hurd and Clement Hurd, and my mom lives the lessons in that book all the time..."don't be in such a hurry or something bad might happen"
She's a beauty; I can see where you get your good looks from. Wonderful tribute to your mom; at least you still have a mom. I don't; lost my mom 17 years ago. I still miss her so!
