I watched the 6 O'Clock news.
I respond to viewers choice on smoking.

I'm glad the dog had enough food
and I had filled up the water bowl.

I wonder why I can't sleep:
I forgot Bible class tonight.
Oh Father, forgive me
I've dishonored your Son.
All the blood, all the pain,
I had a wonderful day under your sun.
Forgive my imperfections and guide me
day by day and when I awake
Tomorrow I will remember to pray.

Oh Wow, Louisa this is beautiful...I enjoyed it very much. It also was a bit convicting because I too get wrapped up in the world today and the things that go with the hectic race we trod, and I too sometimes forget to kneel and pray. I wrote a poem some time back that this reminds me of, it is called I can't Recall. I enjoyed your comments on my story, I feel very honored and I have enjoyed reading your work...I'll be back.

Louisa I love this poem but he also knows all day you were in action prayer by the sounds of this schedule... I pray every morning then throughout the day. But it is that half hour before i enter the world which at times is very cruel and cold I need to pray the most the days i do not i sound like your peom Thank you so much for the inspiration....
