I tumbled and tumbled

and every night I tumbled.

One night I floated onto a field of

green, where the scent of honeysuckle peruse the air.

Every step I took there was the scent, as I tried to reach a little cottage which seemed so close.  The more I walked the further away it seemed to be.

I woke up.

But now I know There is a little mansion waiting for me.

I love this poem, it is so sweet and heart felt. I too am waiting on that mansion. Your poem reminded me of that old song, I don't need a mansion, just a cabin will do....I feel that way, I love cabins anyway. Beautiful write....

I'm with you...I never liked the idea of having many mansions...a little one will do just fine for me! :-) That way there will be less to dust! All kidding aside, this is a lovely dream and poem Louisa...Michelle

yes there is a mansion in paradise waiting for those who believe dear Louisa. Hopefully we will take residence in them soon.

Sometimes our dreams foretell what we need to know in the future. I think we all have that intuition within us.
