this poem was inspired by some of the "dumb" things i might have done and see other people do.

people wonder if we'd change
any decisions we have made
or if there are any mistakes
we wish that we could just erase
from our lives and start again
and not do what we did back then
but sometimes the regrets we have
can lead us down a different path
and try to help us overcome
mistakes that can not be undone
and find the things that we've done wrong
can help us be smarter and strong
and take us in a new direction
in life without any connection
from the stupid things we've done
in our past when we were young
now thinking back there is no way
we should change a single day
because it has turned us into
the adults weve been our whole life through
