Great talents can take you to those splendid heights.
Determination will keep you going a long way.
Training and preparation sweet tool
so helpful on your journey.
Being better than your opponent
still really essential.
But all these will pulverise your dream
if you do not seize your chance
when they beg you to take them.
It will always be a two thing sport
as the pendulum swings the other way.
It would break any heart when you now
struggle to be in contention,
when over confidently you took
your opponent for granted.
It is not that another day you would not snatch another victory
but your tears would burn mercilessly
standing as second best,
then you go another circle
with all that talent, determination,
purpose and preparation.
