You cheat
And you don’t see
The issue

Inherent in
Preaching
While living
Falsely.

Your innocence
Is charming
And disarming
But it hides

Your lust.
Ministry for you
Came with a price
Flirting with the congregation was extra.

I was flattered
But not amused
As you wasted my time
In idle chat

For the aim
Of courting me.
A useless enterprise
Since from your spouse

You were unable
To separate
And refused to treat
Her with respect.

This is harsh
Verdict, for the
Counseling you offered
Is beneath my standards.

And your good humor
Could not fool
My extraordinary spirit
Into adultery.
