God Made Friends
God makes friends,
Unto me he gave a special one.
Unique she was...
nothing ever left undone,
from food when I was sick in bed,
to laughter from the funny things she said.
She was misunderstood by many...
Always willing to give,
many times to the last penny.
A heart she had...
as big as one ever given.
As pure as God's great heaven.
Her days on earth were shortened...
and now she is gone,
leaving a small part of my heart and life alone.

You were blessed to have her.
I think there is always a gap left by such a special person.
I still miss some friends who have been gone for years.
