I Can't Recall...

It's me again Lord...
Today...well I need...
Oh, forgive me Lord...I forgot to say thank you.

Thank you Lord for giving me this day,
and remember when it seems I forget to stop and pray.
Please keep in mind...
sometimes I don't feel in controle or have much time.

My days are often so full that my mind...
well it seems exhausted.
my body aches from head to toe...
rushing back and forth, going to and froe.

But I still thank you from my heart...
though I'm tired I still thank you for my health.
I know it could be much worse, it could stop at any time.
Please remember Lord if you don't hear the words
leave my lips...I still feel them in my heart.

I get depressed when my money I have spent...
bills sometimes paid a little late,
I don't mind not going shopping...
it's the budgeting down to the last cent.

It could be worse this I know...
I could be without shelter over my head,
no warm and comfortable bed.
My cupboards are usually quite full,
they could be empty and bare.

I have a jeep to drive to a job,
although payments are hard sometimes...
I don't have to walk to where I am going...
It's warm in the winter, and cooled in the summer by the air.

I have a wonderful church where I can give you praise,
and recieve a blessing that carries me through the days.
My family is healthy,
no illness that we can see.
Yes, dear Lord you've sure been so good to me.

Today I awoke in my right mind,
you've given so very much...
So Lord, please remember...
if my knees are not bowed in prayer,
know that your in my thoughts and my heart,
I really do care.

I stopped this morning to ask you...
for something in this early AM hour,
But after counting all of my blessings...
and the needs that you supply...
whatever it was that I was going to ask...
It's slipped my mind...I just can't seem to recall.
