This is a fictional poem, based on yet another dream that I had...I guess you can call me...The Dreamer! The dream served as a wonderful reminder to live life to the fullest everyday, life is uncertain and too short...
Sorry for the inconvenience, but I have removed this poem for copyright purposes as it will be in my new and upcoming book...thanks for stopping by my den!
this poem has been removed and will appear in my upcoming book.
I am so blessed in reading your words, sometimes the Lord uses our dreams to speak to our heart and this poem is a testament to that fact
God Bless
Michelle~
What a touching story. I felt your tears and saw them drop on the white satin. OH, I hope this doesn't come true for you for so long. Yes, God is there for us all, but you don't want to lose your man. God Bless.
It may have been a dream but is so poignant and powerful, Joyce, that I am sure it will speak into the reality of many. Very immediate and the scene-setting is right-there. I wouldn't be at all suprised if this wasn't a picture given to you by God which is an accurate depiction of something someone who will read this is or has been going through. Your dream, like Joseph's, is most likely prophetic... given to speak words of encouragement directly into someone's life. What a gift this is, and how loving. Bless you and thank you for your compassionate, listening heart. Kate xx
Beautifully expressed and wrenchingly touching. Bless you! Love and Hugs, 'Pea'

Joyce this is Absolutely Beautiful, powerful, heartwrenchinging
in a soft, expressing way, whispering agony...so sad, awsome
talent expressed so very well. thank you for sharing, mike
I have the Gift of Dreams/Nightvisions also, Miss Joyce..and they are not to be taken lightly. "His Sunday Best" is a soul-stirring revelation, that begs the reader to make the most of what time they are given, with those they love...and to be certain they also have the Cross as their Mainstay, should they be the remaining one.
An emotive and meaningful write, Joyce. It's odd. I posted a poem at Ad quite some time ago (about my mother, actually) entitled, "In Her Sunday Best." Thank you for sharing. Love and peace to you,
Dreams and visions.....you have been blessed with a gift my friend. Thank you sincerely for your friendship and support as we make our way to His light......
Bravo! Excellent ... oh, so powerfully touching, dearest Joyce. Yes, yes, yes, He is there...with arms outstretched...waiting for us to come to Him. There are great messages in dreams. God speaks to us in dreams...I believe that strongly. The novels I write are triggered by dreams.
Oh, it sure is good to be back from holidays just to catch up on magnificent writes like this.
No wonder the writer could pen the words 'I will cling to the old rugged cross...'

Aemn! WONDerfuLLy written Joyce!
Glad I gravitated here for a long stay!
Missed your heart and soul!
This is a gem of a treasure
Reminds me of a few of wanting/longing and believing him being gone!
Those dreams do scare!
Happy it's not reality!
WE seem to get constant reminders to live life
without the big stuff getting in the way...
I have had dreams almost like this. I too have wondered how I would exist without the man I love so much. None of us know what lies ahead ! I think we should live each day as it were our last. Sometimes its hard to do, because everthing is so common place and accepted. God is and was there for you! Great offering.....M
Reality sometimes surpases even the wildest dreams.
The poem takes us in a tour not to an imaginary world but to a mirror reflexion of what has been...for us.
Give me your burdens child, and I will love you even more.
Georg
Your poem is a reminder to us to all enjoy life to the fullest and to make sure we tells the ones we love how much we love them and appreciate them. Even though this is a dream, the emotion and the meaning of faith is strong through out. Outstanding write.

After a NY yank taking me for everything, I know this feeling again so well, I keep falling for the gold diggers. But this time in solitude has taught me much....
Joyce, whew...I'm glad this was a dream & not the real McCoy! I loved the way you brought in our faith in God & what it means to us. In your dream...your sub-conscious might be playing into the dream of a fear of you loosing a loved one and what would happen to you if something did. Giving all our strife & suffering to Him...we know we will make it in this life.

Joyce, I am glad this was only a dream. It is something I lived through and I can tell you, without my faith and my family, I would not have survived it. I was impressed by the loving way you handled the subject and I love that you show the one true source of strength for all who mourn. There is always hope in Him. Beautiful write!!!

Death of a loved one is a sad trauma for anyone. While your poem is inspired by a dream, many of us have wondered what will happen to us if we lose someone who is very important in our lives. Your poem is a reminder that we can never take what we have for granted, but rather, spend our precious moments in shared happiness with those we love.

So very sad Joyce. This is a reality that we all will face someday. (If we outlive our mates). I don't know how women stand the pain of living alone once they have had someone to share everything with. The cross is our only hope of peace and solace. I am so very thankful for everyday I have my husband. My sister is losing hers and she is so frightened and terrified of being alone. She is a christian, but has been married over 50 years, since she was 17. God says he won't put anymore on us than we can bear, but, that cross sure gets heavy sometimes! You penned this perfectly!
