Lost in my own world
I had forgotten the rest,
There was a coal, cruel in my heart.
And you did not knew I was burning
Friendship gone bitter to waste.
I have forgiven myself.
For I don't want to be far
From no one.
And Iam not angry
Because it couldn't be kept in a jar.
Sometimes we do make mistakes
What do we take when we die?
Some hurt has turned into an inspiration.
Lifting the soul from low to high.
Pursuing my own pleasures
I had ignored the importance of others.
Fear anchored the vortex of being
Anger pasted the corners of the skull.
Only looked for bouquet of flowers.
I now know that.
Life without a friend can sometime be dull.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
