The clothes hung on the wall,
where an old calender flapped.
I tried speaking to him
wiping those dusts and spider nets,
but he did not understand
and just stood gaping at the vaccum
of the cold soul less room.
We knew about the coming of the new rising sun.
He gestured lifting his finger pointing at my Alienation.
And the pine trees with eyefull of tears said;
How long she had been waiting
for the warmth of a brave new world.
I went to my room
looking for my brown and yellow coats
to see if they were dry enough.
Since,last two seasons,I haven't worn them.

A deep and moving poem, Roshan. Images of sadness, but hope.

There is a depth here not easily tangible. A soulless person is not conducive to a happy life. Very sad. Even if you try to help. Victor

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
