This poem is dedicated to all drug addicts.The road to recovery is possible when one takes life's new journey.
The setting of an evening sun inside the dusty sky. This trembling body! This aching body! My hearts desire again and again always looking for something. Like swinging on swings. Happy and smiling. Frowning and miserable. These days Iam but people's talk of shame. Hey! people please understand this THAT Iam not a rubbish. Iam not a criminal. Iam a troubled being with my hell of weaknesses. Boiling water! Hot water! But I believe my future is in my own hands. I feel I have the strength to deal with my problems. Thats why Iam painting new dreams in my eyes. Iam filling love's water in my heart. Now I begin life's new journey keeping in mind my past mistakes. And I promise from deep down. Willing to jump all the hurdles of this new LIFE. Being an addict is painful especially the process and journey of repair and new beginnings. They need to know they can do it. I pray for people with addictions all the time. God Bless them and those that reach oput to them Thank you ROSH.
