The Rain
And the Street,
Anger!
Unknowingly
Fiddling,
Those dirts of yesterday.
Ah! the dead memories
Ah! the drunk morality
Where are the bones?
Where is the blood?
The moon sweating blue
From her cage of darkness.
Dumb the tongue of truth,
Mad in the jar of delusion.
Hungry is happiness,
From coast to coast
Defying the breath of the sea,
Forever changing
And pushing; pushing the clouds
Yet closer,
Closer to different horizons
Where again the snail moves,
The icicles glow
Upon the fire;
Self defence
Self loathing:
The War.

Absolutely brilliant write. The questions, with the clever use of colour.
"Hungry is happiness" such a powerful statement.
"Dumb the tongue of truth" Plumb, it's not only dumb, but blind and lame too.
Great metaphorical write, one can feel the angst, anger and almost a feeling of futility and injustice
within these words.
