I sat in their living room and looked at the daughter The father looked at me and pointed his finger And told me if I ever took his daughter from him He would shoot me with his gun. I sat in their living room and looked at the daughter.

This is stark: stark reality (and this unfortunate reality needs this stark exposure) and stark in its eloquence. This really moved me.

Wow Janet, this leaves so much to the imagination, I like that. I can think of many scenarios to fit this. Utmost in my mind is a social worker removing an abused child from her Father.

There are others as well, that is the first thing that came to my mind. Good work. JC
