We will be away for a few days. Another very short adventure awaits. We will be returning sometime Monday evening in time for Robert to make it to work. Those silly airplanes just will not fly right without him. Oh, the joy of feeling needed. I think he really just wants to play with his new camera......
Looking ahead.........
What will I be doing, where will I roam,
looking ahead wondering what is to come.
Sometimes the unknown can be exciting,
not knowing when or where it will be from.
Will health be intact as the years fly by,
or unknown mysteries still hiding inside.
Each place visited, every obstacle conquered,
fills my soul with energy and pride.
Always thanking God for all bestowed,
never wanting or needing anything more.
Faithfully following laws carved in stone,
placing my life in his hands for sure.
Observing from above allowing me choices,
trying not to disappoint doing what is right.
I pray each night my soul to gently keep,
if darkness appears and takes away the light.
Landscape shaped with intricate detail,
unending beauty I have seen from coast to coast.
Giant trees standing so perfect and majestic,
valleys, streams, rivers and the ocean
loved most.
One just needs to take a good look around,
to see what an architect with loving hands can do.
How blessed, how fortunate we all are,
to have a God so giving with the aid of a few.
Every time you feel abandoned and ask why me,
look up to the heavens for renewed security.
He does not turn his back or attempt
to walk away,
extending out his hands with love
and purity.

Love this spiritual birds' eye view, Karen. Like a small child, I never cease to be awed by the views from aircraft cabin windows... Above it all, I seem even smaller than I thought as I consider the grandeur of what lies below me, and its scope. And ALWAYS when I fly back to Britain, what strikes me is the orderliness and greenness of our English countryside. Small may be beautiful in some respects, but the largeness of continents and the immensity and diversity they can contain just blows my mind. Travel safely and well. You and your husband obviously live one step closer to heaven, inhabiting the skies as you would appear to do! :)) Love Kate xx
