Poem Artwork
Every now and then, I seem to go blank.
And Empty place, that seems time has become frozen. My heart, my mind,
like walking in a mist of clouds..I can't get past.
I seek, and search for my way back..

This is not my first choice as to the selection of music I wished for this poem.
My first choice, is in a .wav file,
"May It Be" by ENYA
From the Movie Sound Track
"Lord of the Rings"
When~ I can figure out how to record it to a midi,
or load it here as a .wav..
I will..It is "EVER" So very Beautiful!!
And fits this peice so perfectly...
THANK YOU Trixie,, for showing me how to add

*HUGS*~~
The Painting I had originally placed here has been moved to my Article "Breaking Chains"..I thought this new one fit this poem better.

A Mist

by D. Enise — Read all 64 poems by D. Enise

As I walk softly
Through the mystical clouds,
Time's stopped for ever
Silence the sounds

I reach out to touch you,
But you disappear
In this mist as I walk,
Were you there at all?

I turn to go back,
My path has grown over
Tall grass and flowers
dancing before me

I try to remember,
But can't seem to think
My minds filled with clouds
A swirling of mist

Everything is so silent
The music has gone
Had it Faded away,
Along with the wind

I stand lost,..frozen.
In this mystical glade
searching for answers
without questions yet formed

I cry out,
Where are you?
Away, Have you gone?
I can't see, or feel you
This mist of fine clouds

"I seek you",
I cry
you're the Light of my life

"I need you"
I call,
you so fill, my heart

"I love you"
I whisper...
with all that I am

Without you,
I'm nothing..
I bow low my head

For my life, would be nothing,
without your shinning of light
I seek, need, and love you
To more than exist

Verse nine, "your" should be "you're". Verse twelve is redundant. I would eliminate it altogether. The thirteenth verse says it all. Verses nine, ten, eleven...I like the way you changed cadance a little here. Well done. Polish it up and you have a winner. ~E

Jen!!!

I am so proud of you. Your poetry has evolved into something deeper. This actually has me balling (yep, I said that) my eyes out. It reminds me of my bro. that passed. You've gone way beyond. Thank you. :)
