Just One Note...

by D. Enise — Read all 64 poems by D. Enise

Just a note,
short, simple and sweet.
Nothing to much,
Nothing to deep.

It had it's place,
on one single page,
serving a purpose
When the time came.

Just one note,
nothing important,
Of cause,
came effect.
At Just the right moment.

Not much power,
In anything singular
Not much importance,
Or much to offer.

One day,
One season
One person,
One Note

Alone "can" seem empty
useless, remote
pointless, or senseless
Invisible too.

~*~
In a Day,
A beginning,
For a world of tomorrows
The start of a season
Of lasting long memories.

One Season,
Our time spent together
That we're each given gifts
Treasured moments forever.

One person,
This list could go on,
There's no end to the magic
That just one person can give.

The warmth of a smile,
An ear to listen
Arms to hold you,
Or even a lesson.

Much like one note,
One person has power,
a voice, could be heard
That may make a difference
all over the world.

Just One note,
Perhaps not a letter.
Alone, and with worth
Despite an appearance.

Blended together,
Harmony forms
Life becomes,symphony
Music is born.

There is vast wealth
In what may seem
"just one"
We all count
And have something to give.

Just one ~
A facade
It's a day or a season
one note, one person
All things for a reason.
