BloodOn the Moon

by D. Enise — Read all 64 poems by D. Enise

God I feel so full of anguish
I feel as though my heart
has been ripped right from my chest
And in that, so also torn,
All of my ideals, thoughts, and hopes.

My ideals,
That there is good in the world
And that we have to look to see
That there "is" Love out there!?
That this too, will pass..I'll see.

My Thoughts..
The world can be cold
But kindness is there.
There is hope for humanity
Somewhere out there..

My Hopes..
That I am not crazy,
I have a good heart
That I can help another
That there is Joy, here on earth.

That there is joy
in the finding of flowers
That they won't wilt from my touch
When I reach out to smell one.

In heart having been
ripped out,
And so badly, and Torn,
So are my hopes, and dreams,
For today, of tomorrow's

That Joy was my own
Fantasy laid
Reality harsh
World full of pain.

I know this poem?
Isn't written with polish
This is an attempt
To put things "Back" in perspective
For myself..
I do pain, so badly!! Much like everyone else.
But I am trying new things
I am trying NOT to isolate,
Which is what I really WANT to do.

Lay down and sleep,
dream life away.
Live in my dreams.
My safe place to be.

***Thank you! Aamie,
Yes "Ideals" is what I had meant.

Dear Lady "D," Anything in it's proper perspective is in itself "poetry." Thank you for your gifted time. Peace.

The more in tune with Mother Earth..the more we feel its pain We feel each tear drop..every petal that falls from each flower..each tree that is felled

It seems as if the ones that are more grounded to the mother earth are so suseptable to her vibrations as well.We feel more than most people because we are very attuned.Understand this is part of the gift and don't let it get you too down. I myself have those days and I just say, O.K I'm just going to feel it so I'll "get through it". Isolation has always been my friend. But I do see how so many need our spiritual guidance that we must pick up the bootstraps..LOL...After all, we are ONLY HUMAN!!!! That's where I can go into my world with the animals and they make it right by their unconditional love, friendship and they just plain NEED US TOO..!! (((JEN))) Your words truly inspire all of us to look at life and each other. With friends, family and our animals we can get through anything...!

Love ya bunches, Jo

Excellent emotional poem and your heart is on your sleeve, wish I could say something to make you feel better. If you keep your focus on this world you will always be disappointed. You need a change of focus dear...;-)
