Blocked *AGAIN*......

Blank white space
Staring back at me,
The paper, screen or canvas,
bleak, blank and empty.
I can't find the words,
I can't catch the colors
though they are there
I can see them, teasing.
They just won't take form
What I think, What I am feeling
An image, a sentence
So very elusive
They are Making no sense
when I put them together
Funny but the truth is,
That "is" how I am feeling!
The same blank feeling,
Thoughts and emotions,
Reflected on the pages,
paper, screen, or canvas!
If I could just slow things down
Catch my breath, and a thought
Some relief from this heat! maybe then,
I could fill a page up!

Just thought I would share
"where" I have been!!
Writers Block!!
Stifled by the heat!
without any AC!! :(
Hope eveyone is doing well,
And I hope you will join me in my prayers
for all those living in area's that are in need of relief.
Some area's, are in dire need of rain.
The Prairie (Where I live), Mid West & western states, from drought are so dry there are no hay crops, or water sources, dams, creeks etc., to support the stock or wild life.
With extreme threat of fire.
(The Black Hills, very spiritual & historic, mountains, are on fire, (again).
Along with CO,CA , AZ,WY.And parts of Montana.
Those in area's with rain, who are flooding..
And all the firefighters, and rescue workers
In the fire and flood area's.
That they, and all those who's lives are in havoc
will be kept safe, and
get some much needed relief soon!
My "writers block", is not of any importance.
I just wished to say hello..
And let all those in troubled area's and my freinds here, know that
you are all in my thoughts, that I am thinking you.
There are many Authors here at AD that "are" in these area's. You all are in my prayers!

It's been so darn hot here you can't think, let alone turn the computer on.. I have been afraid the poor thing would crash from over heating. (not my mind, but the computer~ *Grin*)

Sometimes when i write
a poem.. Ha, it does not make any sense...lol
Thank God that it does
always come back...
I believe we all get it
from time to time...
