As I lay sleeping,
I become aware,
of pins and needles
and pain everywhere.
I move away,
From the source of the pain,
And the pain moves with me,
Attacks once again.
More fully awake now
I realize the source
A little demon in fur,
who is on the attack!
Once a fallen Angel
Lifeless and dying
she could fit in my hand
With a will of surviving
I had thought,
Feared we would loose her
But her will and her heart
Are really what saved her.
She became apart of the family,
So sweet, is the look.
But a facade I now know
As she attacks, with a pounce!
Little bundle of fur,
I can't help but laugh
She's supposed to be a kitten
but I have my doubts.
She jumps around like a ferret!!
And pants like a dog,
And is rather serious
When attacking ones shoes.
She is fearless and fast
And rather athletic
With flying side swats
She comes out of nowhere.
She would make me angry
With her constant antics,
She has me laughing
Before I can scold her
I just wish she'd sleep
Instead of her practice
When the lights go out!
Along with the rest of us

I have had many kittens, but "she"
is a personality, well, she always has me
laughing!
I still pretty much have "Writers Block".
Thought I would post this one anyway. *S*
I seem to be in a "place" of contemplation,
For a time. I know in time it will pass
I have been here before. It can be a little bit
frustrating though! *Smile*
Please forgive my lack of comments on work here at the Den. I am SO Sorry I have not been able read your works. I both enjoy and get so much out of them!
The heat has prevented much time on the computer.
And I have never painted a "cat" before.
And getting "her" to stand, lay, sit, "still"..is next to impossible!!
