With Warmth or Of Cold

by D. Enise — Read all 64 poems by D. Enise

Beautiful Mystery
Wonderings why
Sometimes a tear,
Sometimes a Smile.

How will today
effect the rest of your life?
Tomorrow so far,
Yesterday is past

Life in today
Glory and, warmth
or tears of sadness
Which ever provoked

Tomorrow will come
And yesterday's written
the place you are now
Is where our own history's written

Quilted paths of our lives
We weave as we breathe
Each action and thought
Each moment, in time.

Will yours be worn?
Soft and of comfort?
Or will it be Cold, Torn
and tattered?

Every word each we have whispered
Every thought even fleeting...

Will it haunt you later?
Or give you some comfort.
Will it make you sad?
Or will it fill you with light?
Soft glow of warmth encircling your heart?

Be kind today,
Tomorrow and always,
Both To yourself
and all that your path meets.

We live here together
We rise and we fall
We take on to much
And sometimes we fail

We know our own failures,
We know our own strengths
And what we haven't found yet
We search for each day.

The giving of kindness
To that of another,
Can give those receiving a
feeling like no other

And in turn you receive
A gift in like spirit,

Soft glow in your heart,
feeling of comfort
For the day that comes,
When your quilts all your left with.

Poem Artwork
Life it to short, And can be complex enough
Give to another, don't add to the raths.
If we could all just smile instead of judge.
We each could one day to,, find our selves in those same shoes.
Children learn by example,,not our words,,they become what they have lived with..
If we teach in giving happiness..they learn what it is to recieve it as well.

I don't wish for another tragity to strike..
Just the love ,warmth and Unity that was so very evidant. ~ Blessings to all..in Light

This poem really gives light into my own heart. Knowing how many trials God has put me through knowing that Jesus lives on in the heart too.

Charity begins in the heart. When you give from your heart, you give with your soul.
