Old man of wisdom
Tell me what you see.
Will there ever be
any peace for us?

~*~

Please share some of
your wisdom with me.
For in mankind I seemed
to have lost all trust.

~*~

By the very hands of mankind
Slowly they destroy our land.
With hazardous waste materials
That are polluting our seas.

~*~

Old man of wisdom,
I just cannot comprehend.
Do these men not take
the time to stop and think?

~*~

For they chop down all
of our beautiful trees.
Only to benifit their
own greedy selves.

~*~

The smog in the air is so thick,
Making it difficult to breathe.
Far too many are getting sick
and dying, from the toxic smells.

~*~

Old man of wisdom,
Please tell me what you see.
Will our land ever be safe?


~*~

What can I do to stop
All of this insanity?
For our world is slowly
wasting away.
