~ The Lady Sang The Blues ~
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Oh how this lady loves
To sing the blues.
Often tears would stream
Down her face...

~*~

She could carry such a tune
That would send you into
A very special place...

~*~

Her songs were usually
Based on her life.
A life that was filled
With such sorrow and pain...

~*~

You could see the agony
In her eyes,
With every single song
That she sang...

~*~

Her songs would always
Somehow deeply touch you.
For it was as though she was
Only singing for you...

Whenever,
"The Lady Sang The Blues."
