~ Honky Tonk Blues ~
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Oh babe can't you see
Just how I feel?
But you're driving me
To where I care no more...

~*~

Cause' I want a love
That I know is real.
Not someone who will
Break my heart to the core.

~*~

So this is it - It's time
To say goodbye.
Can't go on living with
Your low down spiteful ways.

~*~

Not a single tear will
I break down and cry.
Cause' baby I've learned
To play those silly games.

~*~

May life find you
Feeling happy.
And may all of your
Dreams come true ...

~*~

Don't you for a moment
Ever worry about me.
Cause' I'll be at the
Honky Tonk
Singing the honky tonk blues.

Do you sing, Trixie? I usually like your music when you write alone. Your writings are great too. When you write alone.

I remember how we talked about the "Honky
Tonk" songs. We had different recollections. I remember everything you told me. I remember your voice and how thrilled it made me feel. I pinched myself to make sure you were real. I thought at last I have found someone I could love and who loved me. I guess I remember what I wanted to remember and nothing else. I havent changed what I feel in my heart. But I don't know now if you ever felt anything good about me at all. Is one convict so different than another? I love you so. Is that different? Someone poisened you toward me to start out. What could I do. I don't know who did it, and you wouldn't tell me. But someone must be happy now. Really, really happy. They put your love to the test. And what happened? These are not crocodile tears I shed. No mam. I thought you and all your work was glorious, and I still think so. I believed in you. I adored you. But don't worry. I have always been a loser. I wanted my search for love to stop. and thought my luck would change. Wanted to settle down. "You Don't Kmow Me." You don't know the one who dreams of you at night, who longs to kiss your lips and hold you tight. "You Don't Know Me." Bill
