The Lord is merciful in giving you what you can handle. Wisdom implies climbing in spiritual levels. You can also choose to rest where you are.

She turns to you slowly
with her half-smile so inviting,
the fullness of her promise,
calling you gently,
reaching with the long fingers
to gently carress your head
with a comforting contemplation,
so restful the knowing.
But then, she penetrates
the skull of your innocence
with a white hot
lightning sword that lingers
to send a boiling tide
washing over the heart
scorching and searing
the melted, quivering soul,
then molding it
in new understanding.
Be careful,
you can be burned,
and burned many times,
by the fire of the blessing
you asked for,
the blessing of wisdom.

Wow! This piece really sneaks up on the unsuspecting reader and packs a whollop of intensity and enlightenment without warning. Extremely well crafted, this is a brilliant piece of writing, with powerful imagery that will be long-remembered after the reading.

Solomon would be proud.
As long as we learn from the scars, then a little burn maybe a blessing...
Wonderful sensues flow of words, yet though I think it's better to receive it when asked for, instead of when not,so you can be prepared. Blessings! Jasmin Horst
