On the tail of this most deserved tribute to one of our own, I'm going to see if I can back up your praises.
When I think of Sherry, I first see her smile. And she gives me reason to smile back, if for no other reason but to place radiance about her. When one is down, she is always the first to reach out, and offer a hand. But then...most Angels would. She not only will listen, but she hears. She not only speaks, but she speaks with courage, honor and heart. She has a poetic soul, braided together with an open mind, and I am pleased, No.. I am grateful to be allowed to call her, Friend.
Her reviews of my work, have been used as stepping stones to higher steps. She demands one to reach. She pleads for one to achieve, and not only achieve but then do it, with pride. And if by some chance you slip...she's ready willing and able to catch you before you fall.
You are right Eileen,,,,Sherry is a Special Poet, and an evenmore Speical Lady.

Awww shucks, (blushin' and kickin' dirt) you always say the nicest things!! When I saw the title I would never have guessed that you were writing about me, then I saw my picture. Thank you for your kind heart, Eileen. I don't feel that I deserve this tribute but I will humbly curtsey and again say thank you for being so darned sweet. I didn't hear the music at first...what a hoot! You are so clever, Girlfriend.
