Poem Artwork

The hallow haunt
of my heart
holds  dear
thoughts of you
though far or near

I forever fondle
your memory
keeping it ever
close to me

I feel you fly
next to me in all
our synchroneity

Our passion is portrayed
in permanent prose
as our love ever grows

The miracle of our mating
is  always
a magnificent melody

As lovely as any sonata
that floats on
the winds of memory

Over eons of
endless endearment
we thrive
eagerly alive

Drenched within
our own depths
of  delight
we neon the night

In the cradle of cosmic
recombination
we  captivate creation

Your pen has painted images like an artist's brush dressing an empty canvas. With each line, a new colorful picture wove into the last creating a beautiful meshwork portrait of romance soaring the universes for all eternity. Very beautiful work, Eileen!!
Take care,
Sherry

Have to agree with Dawn here, Eileen; this is classic ETW in style, tone, concept and diction. Totally unique and your very own hallmark, bearing Creator's stamp of approval! I love the way you do the Song of Song thing, speaking of the full measure of both our human and spiritual passions. Another recital piece, I think. Your voice is perfect compliment to you work. "Fondling memory" is spot-on imagery. Beautiful! TY Kate xx PS... sorry about my shocking graphics... comes of having grown up in cowsheds! :))

"neon night" and "cradle of cosmic recombination" - some truly striking lines. oh, and "drenched... depths of delight" I'd better stop, because I'll have to copy your entire poem down to tell you all the good parts. An ETW classic. Dawne

Yet another of your patented love poems with the cosmos as its background. And, yep, I always liked to "fondle memories" also. HeeHee. Bad. I just can't seem to help myself.

"We neon the night"... No one writes - because no one feels - Love the way - of a million ways, in countless images - a Poet does!
