WHAT CAUSES SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
Thunderstorms develop when warm, humid air near the ground receives an initial upward push from converging surface winds and rises rapidly in an unstable atmosphere. Thunderstorms can become severe when the atmosphere is particularly unstable and/or additional energy is drawn in from surrounding winds. (This applies to other type storms as well.)

Birthed out of the glory
Of a forgotten story
The Storm arose
In all of its fury

It exploded over earth
Such power never seen
Leaving in its wake
A devastating scene

Did it come from heaven
Or maybe from hell
The usual questions
No one can  tell

Most say it's mother nature
Having a bad hair day
Hoping she won't be so mean
Next time she comes our way

But the Storm knows it is
Reacting to earths environment
Aided by Humanities
Ignorant mistreatment

As greed and stupidity continue
To deplete the planets resources
The Storms know in turn
It will only grow their forces

For those who want to argue the fact,remember that i'm not saying we cause storms, only that we contribute to their severity, by depleting the earths resources. I don't know if global warming is a factor, i'm not a scientist. But common sense tells us that as the storms continue to get more frequent and destructive than ever before, and the weather patterns are changing, there has to be a cause! Those who wantonly cut down the rain forests are removing the lungs of the earth! Needs can be met and still have conservation!
