With touch of skin she felt his whim
So natural was the act
Her happiness full to the brim
Would not argue the fact
As cheek to cheek two lovers seek
To make intentions known
For every place the toungue does speak
It makes the nitch its own
Between moments of a kiss
True love can ere be found
When seekers of connubial bliss
Decide to become bound
When their desires are full blown
The needs to sate are met
Old fashioned morals now have flown
The plans have all been set
Soon a few dawns have come and gone
A change of heart takes place
Roving eyes start to look upon
Another pretty face
The marriage bed no longer sought
By he who wonders why
He sees the lovely lass look fraught
With teardrops in her eyes
There was no real declaration
Silent assumptions made
Sad the lass felt adoration
The lad just could not trade
He wished that she would stop the tears
He knew not what to say
She looked at him with eyes so dear
He had to turn away
