... Just wish I was water sprinkling down from Nordette's watering can this evening... we are all seed whose life is a mass of potential. To a certain extent, we can choose our soil and can gravitate towards the light we find there; to a certain extent, we can't. We thirst for water every which way - through the roots for some, through the leaves for others. If we flourish by whatever means, we together create Eden. But then, we can also be weeds and choke ourselves and others as well sometimes. We can offer others water from our source, but we cannot make them drink; each plant thrives in different circumstances and hence the beauty of the variety and the diverse qualities of the different strains... but ain't cross-fertilisation glorious?? Hybrids and new discoveries get the Gardeners excited, that's for sure! :)) Not sure how I've managed to sustain this analogy, but the poem is well-tended! K xx

Hebrews 11:1&3: Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.... By faith we understand that the worlds were set in order at God's command, so that the visible has its origin in the invisible.

Envy, jealousy, deviousness, hatred, false humility...and so many other psychological/spiritual hindrances tie us to myopia. We humans make up a motley crew, each falling short of the glory of the Creator. You'd think we'd cut each other more slack. :-) All we can do for anyone other than ourselves is pray and reflect love and hope that they will know the peace that surpasses all understanding. And so we do, and so we will.
