My thoughts;-)

I see me sitting under that beautiful tree
With my friends of such marvelous variety
We are enjoying our afternoon tea
Do we stop to think of the shade
Or  what wood of which the table is made
Do we think of those who live in the tree
How Creator made them all as well as we

A Mighty Oak Tree Lesson

I look up at the mighty oak tree
So beautiful,grand, and so alive
I sense it speak wisdom to me
Of how it struggles to survive

It is home to many diverse creatures
With no bias, for all a place is granted
It has so many different features
We never know of,  when it's planted

Just like its human counterparts
It grows and adapts to its surroundings
Adjusting to new pauses and starts
As it reaches towards its foundings

There's a similar analogy of course
The way humanity wends its way
Since we both have the same source
As Creator of the universe did say

As I ponder these truisms so wondrous
Humanities dreams come to the fore
If our goals were not just "me", but all of us
Our joy  could be so much more
