Ever Evolving Echoes

ever evolving evening echoes
sounding a distant refrain
keeping the rhythm of the rain


making a beehive of the brain
insoluble impenetrable matters
leaving the emotions in tatters


praying that hopes don't shatter
where art thou peace and harmony
dost destiny  ride the waves asea


one shouldn't hold fast to misery
when those who disdain are immature
to hurt others makes them feel secure


take heart there's a haven on shore
a beckoning beam that leads to light
so one doesn't feel alone in the night

This is a beautiful poem, Eileen that offers hope to the troubled souls who often feel the lonliness of not being accepted by others. I think we all feel this once in a while and it is comforting to know that we are not in this life alone, that a lifeline has been tossed our way and is always within our grasp.

Being a practitioner of Wicca, daily Zen Buddhism meditation, a staunch follower of C.J. Jung, a faithful practitioner of Frederick Perl's Gestalt therapy, incorporating L. Ron Hubbard's Church of Scientology, a staunch follower of Charles Darwin and the theory of Evolution and the survival of the fittest keeps me in the good graces of Ever Evolving Echoes. Change is remorseless and relentless in an infinite cosmos, and your composition Eileen points us to the Lord as the anchor and compass in our life !

Yes, and that is a comforting feeling, it is just too bad I didn't have that assurance and reality back there in those "other" bad old days and nights and months and years, etc., but I do now and THAT is all that matters. Good.

Time in space and space in time create an environment in which change is inevitable, merciless and all encompassing and penetrating. Our hopes of long ago may have turned into nightmares of the future and our fears may have become insignificant twists of the mind. Our memories continuously alter the past, making it almost as unpredictable as futures ahead. And in the undividable instant of the present we change with every breath we take.
