The storm of confusion is wreaking havoc Everyone is asked to keep calm A call goes out for people to help one another However there is no way to get through
Wandering the road of division Meeting many similarities Stubborness lane crosses obstinacy Compulsion st. is parellel with coercion
Solution Avenue is flooded Reason Street covered with debri
Anti war avenue is insurmountable Pro war Parkway has a sink hole
Everyone is looking for someone to take charge They have forgotten how to think for themselves People look for leadership forgetting that it was The leadership that failed them
Someone should tell the people that it's about time They did things for themselves and stopped looking To pass the buck to someone else all the time
Maybe then our roads would be cleaned up, and Confusion would be replaced by responsibility
After we realize we can help ourselves We could choose leaders who know how to lead
this is a compelling poem ... we musn't forget there are many responsible people who unfortunately cannot find any real leaders to enlighten the way for the collective cause ... they just don't exist in the political sense ...

I agree with Peter, It's about personal responsibility. We gotta do better in speaking out, and throwing out; the useless,greedy, selfserving, leaders, that prevail, in the ruling bodies, of our nation. great write, Eileen, keep it up. Art
