I awake, my mind full of kaleidoscopic colors I can't remember the dream- but I do recall a scene of being serene surrounded by green and the sky in hues of blue-with streams of white holding me in its beam of light-while I hastily write-so I won't lose the train of thought that has me caught in its reverie
I feel nature nurture me as the sun of yellow casts me in an orange glow-and as crimson thoughts fill my eyes-I feel purple passions rise then as the sun descends- and sepia tones call days end-I see the indigo night-with stars shining bright-along with the silvery moon-that sings a lovers tune-when male and female unite, bodies tanned and wet with sweat-the ebony evening spent writhing on ivory sheets-until the suns blood red rays rise to a new and dewy dawn
Can I borrow a dream from you, Eileen? Mine are soooo everyday normal to twisted...My dreams make me laugh, but yours...those are definitely dreams of a different color. Nice work.
Take care,
Sherry
Wow do I want your dreams, Eileen! Can't remember mine of late. If I do, only quick flashes of what was. Maybe I take too long to awaken from very deep sleep. But this is my idea of a brilliant vacation, which is what you give us as you share your dream. Sighs again...
"So I won't lose the train of thought that has caught me in its reverie" is so immediately understandable. Been there, done that!
Looking at the passing of time as colors was very lovely, and also very unique! You truly have poetic sensibilities Eileen and I always come away a little bit better after reading your heartfelt constructs.

Those technicolor dreams are so vivid and sparkling, and this is no exception, as you go throught the whole spectrum of colors in your glee and reverie...
A wonderful dream and flashback to times fondly and sweetly remembered...

Those tossled sheets . . . Gotta love it! A take from a dream and the images remembered make for a special piece of poetry.
Just absolutely beautiful. I do so lovee poetry with lots of colors and this one doesn't disappoint at all. It is a wonderful play of the palette of our Creator.
