An intransigent anomaly in my innards
needs to be expelled

Don't know if it came from heaven or hell

It hasn't left because I keep it there no matter the pain, misery, anguish

I'm  possessed, but I've accepted it, because It is my wish

How does one communicate with an idea?

One that's as ephemeral as a passing cloud

Shall I become a feather and let the wind lift and carry me to wherever it wishes

I would have if  that's the only choice I had to meet the elusive concept that haunted me

But  exciting expectations,  that come from a remarkable source, have opened new portals

I'll no longer indulge in the mundane mindless matters, masquerading, as meaningful

If I'm to find true meaning, it will be the result of my faith in the  dream of possibilities

Soaring beyond my own ineptitude into the realms of divine deliverance

No longer just a feather in the wind

etw

Wonderfully descriptive poem regarding times when one needs to reflect about life. The alliteration works so well on 'mundane mindless matters, masquerading as meaningful' what a fabulous line.

I believe very much in "...my faith in the dream of possibilities..." my dreams are my sustenance, well ..those along with my treat grabbers! ;) Panda :)x

Have to talk to the idea,
The ideas talk back normally in the bath...

Yup up real early, a great thunder storm..

ideas communicate with us ... they exist in the collective imagination and wait for feathers of being to ride on the winds of our thoughts only to be captured then released from the webs of our deepest perceptions ... i also believe that "I'll no longer indulge in the mundane mindless matters, masquerading, as meaningful" is a great idea to communicate with ... keep pursuing your goals!

"How does one communicate with an idea?"

I don't believe that we do. I believe if we're prepared we can capture ideas as feathers or butterflies.

Being prepared is the key, sometimes they only come through once!

These little invisible fairy's called ideas can be likened to muses almost. They light upon our minds and provoke us to action ... if we are so inclined.

Like the peeling back of an onion, I believe the fulfillment, and realization, of these things called ideas, is like discovering the pearl at the center - it can only be realized after work and pressing forward in faith.

Great write!

Metaphysical in nature, this poem/prose delves into that transient of all things, idea not quite manifested. A maddening germ of an idea which only serves to alienate reality. Instead of supressing this sprouting bud of revelation, the poet achingly nurtures it, hoping to feed it enough mind over matter that it will show itself. And the poet also give the reader the understanding that it WILL most assuredly show itself in its time.

Never a feather in the wind when your Muse is costantly whispering the genuis part of you that listens and then writes the beauty. Excellent my friend...excellence here in this poem.

We have to have our feet firmly planted in our faith in God not to be drawn in to the fleeting fads of the day. And I have no doubt that you were ever a feather in the wind.
