Poem Artwork

My dream scene is black satin

with heart among the vines

while embryonic grapes

drip red drops of passion

into my cup of clouded love

I writhe in eager expectation

as a stranger emerges from

shadows of obfuscated blue

 to join my clandestine crimson

becoming a haze of purple prose

our lips combine to taste the wine

vineyard a prismatic canvas divine

In wine there is Truth...grapes are ready to go to harvest now...I have my grapes, sugar, Camden tablets, pectic enzyme, and activated Bordeaux yeast in my gallon amphora, stretched a balloon over the bottle neck, when the balloon blows up and pops, the wine is ready...fermenting the pulp! My dream scene is in Blue satin! Divine chalice...Cheers, Eileen!
