Eileen, you never cease to amaze me ...this is as rubber-to-the-road as it gets! And it IS everywhere, infiltrating every corner of every faith.

My dad once told me, the sin was when they denied priests the right to marry. They were married in the Bible - even Peter, who became the first Pope! MAN DID THAT - NOT GOD!

Man is his own worst enemy...and satan takes advantage of it, at every turn!

I concur
I was sentenced to 9 years in a catholic school
from kindergarten to the 8th grade
thank God I survived abuse, other then corporal punishment
they never spared the rod.
I do believe it made a better man of me
Taught me discipline

I can relate to the sentiment of this piece.

I also addressed these problems in a construct I wrote entitled JUGGERNAUT. There are many problems with all churches and faiths and spiritual persuasions. Christianity is not excluded from this list. In ways, Christianity has fallen the farthest and has failed the most miserably.
