I've come to the conclusion Life for me has no illusion I have too many sides to me So I'm content to travel free Enjoying all the sights I see Some days I may act like a sinner While other days I'll be a saint One day I will write poetry The next perhaps I'll paint I'll compose music on my keyboard I like to sing songs to the Lord I never looked for a pot of gold I prefer being happy growing old I love to give so I give my love Just as it comes from up above In the meantime if I get a chance I'll have a fling with new romance And with nature do my best dance As I abide in Creator's cirumstance

One of your better creations, Eileen, I liked the simplistic lines. Very good. Oh, yes, indeed, I am still revising.
You've covered a lot of territory in this poem, Eileen! It's apparent you love life, you also love doing many things -- I found this to be very uplifting and hopeful. Very nice work.

CJ
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,

A good overview of life. And never doubt that you give oodles of love in your words, and I believe that everyone accepts them as such.
I am always blessed, and often find encouragement sharing your journey with you. You have a sublime soul.
