Humanity has a bad habit of making idols When they fall we join in denouncing them The Lord said"Do not put your trust in man" Creator is the only one perfect beyond words We have no word to glorify Him as He deserves The rest of us are all capable of imperfections What some religious leaders do is despicable Yet they are human, and no different than we We are the ones that hold them above us Something we shouldn't do in the first place If we were to take a page out of God's book We'd see that every one of us fall short of His glory Therefore to hold others to a higher standard Is our mistake, they are no different than we are I used to think differently, hated what they did I don't know the latest"fallen evangelical leader I learned to put all my faith and trust in Creator That is what He tells us to do, and we'd be a lot Better off if we listened and lived out His plan Let Creator mete out His judgement, we can't None of us are pure enough to judge another human

Man, too often, glorifies their own power; building their tower much too high, with a farther depth to fall...sadly.
Denounce those that come baring evil. Turn them out and forgive them and cast them aside.

Can I get an amen? The only thing about the latest fall from grace is the glee with which the news media reported it. When he asked for forgiveness AFTER he had lied about it all, it made about as much sense as Sadaam asking for "repentence and shaking of hands." Much too little, much too late.
As I told my grounds crew on the golf course, if you don't make mistakes you're not trying. I know, I made a mistake once. Seriously though, what wonderful advice you give. Kudos

How true it is...for his voice is the one that we should follow. I think about the bible where it states "that His sheep know His voice, and a stranger they will not follow." Makes one wonder if people are praying enough to be able to recognize God's still small voice when He speaks? Great and very powerful write...much for the reader to think about.
