Poem Artwork

In the gentleness  of twilight I'm
touched by the transitory
lore of love

I feel it in the mellowness of
soft rushing air as I breathe in the
fragrance from scented candles

Watching the sunset I luxuriate in the
ambience of the impending birth
of moonlight

I hear echoes of ancient rhythms of
life and wonder if I'm dreaming

How many millions of times has the
moon been born

As darkness falls the stars begin
to show their sparkle

I'm entranced by a mystic moon dance
as it comes out from behind the trees

Full with a fuz surrounding it,I think i'm
in former eons of time feeling one with
the birth of the cosmos

With a chill in the autumn evening, I shiver
as thoughts of love make me quiver

I hesitate to let go of this moment it is too
delicious,I'll imprint it into my memory and
save it for later

I sigh with sadness that lifes inanities always
have to interfere with our joy, but unpacking is
awaiting my attention

etw~

Beautiful write and beautiful thoughts...we went for a night ride the other night through the mountains the moon was at the fullest and glowing with an orange color...it was stunning and most powerful to think about God's grace, his miracles that can be seen through such beauty as the moon. A wonderful and beautiful write.

And after you unpack, Eileen, you can go back out into the night and watch the moon and contemplate God's greatness! A most beautiful write, rife with lovely images and lines (impending birth of moonlight is BRILLIANT).
